Ko Phi Phi Don, previously a calm spot of the area changed recently to a place of lively and colourful activities with lots of bars, restaurants, shops, diving schools. It is always worth a visit and you will have a lot of fun! Ko Phi Phi Le, here you will find the Maya Beach where the movie “The Beach“ with Leonardo Di Caprio was made.

Phang-Nga,  famous for its bizarre islands made of  limestone that stick straight out of the water. Most known is James Bond Island, which was one of the spots for the James Bond movie “The man with the golden gun”. Also worth seeing are the countless caves and bays  inside the islands that seem like magic places. You can enjoy a special and relaxing ambiance and watch the sea eagles.

The Krabi region, including Ao Nang, Phra Nang and Railey Beach is gorgeous especially where the dark green jungle meets the white sandy beaches. An incredible amount of rocky limestone makes this place a paradise for free-climbers.

Langkawi: located north west of Malaysia and on the border to Thailand. This interesting tax free island can be easily accessed by airplane from Kuala Lumpur, Singapore or Penang. Daily flights are also offered from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur or Penang. The distance Langkawi-Phuket is around 120 sea miles straight. (Tip: Google Maps)

Phuket to Langkawi: There are hundreds of islands, bays and lagoons with  cristal clear water, huge variety of tropical fish and colorful corals. Additionally you will find lots of wonderful beaches with clean white sands. The whole region of more than 12.000 square miles offers you an incredible amount of different landscapes. You can plan the cruise that way that you can dine every evening in a restaurant on land. The Thai kitchen is very diversified, from fish to meat and hot to mild and it is reasonable priced. The people are very friendly and supportive and sometimes a little shy.

Visa to enter Langkawi/Malaysia: for visitors of most countries for a stay up to 90 days in Malaysia and 30 days in Thailand no visa is required. Your passports must be valid at least 6 month from the date of expiry upon leaving the country.  Because the laws can change quickly, please check with the responsible authorities.
